Perhaps if Jason bought a USED Mac, he could satisfy all your desires. (I realize my phrasing here is subject to misinterpretation. I choose to leave it this way.) He would have a Mac, but would be simply rescuing a Mac gathering dust in a closet somewhere rather than contributing to the relentless consumerist drive for more, new, cutting edge stuff.
Now if only you knew someone who'd recently completed a computer-modeling-intensive PhD prject who now has a surplus of G4 towers sitting around...

Yes, I might.
But alas, I am not. I'm far too addicted to rants and stuff to make use of something like that.
Let me know when you find a free app that takes the comics *and* the rants for the day, and injects them directly into your brain.
Because my goal is to become so lazy I don't even use my eyes anymore.
