Worst album covers ever
Okay, I don't know what's funnier.
The Sun collected some of the worst album covers ever. They're great. And I mean that in the they're-actually-really-awful way.
But then imagine my surprise when I got to number 8. I know it's not nice to laugh at the expense of my dad while he's in the hospital, but who knew he had this alter ego? And how creepy is it that the guy is apparently feeding alcohol to a 16-year-old? Ha ha ha! Hilarious.
'Course, when you're done looking at those, you can always check out the Sun's Page 3. What's that you say, ya don't know what Page 3 is...?

Gotta love people who judge a book by it's cover...
John Bult who you all seem so willing to attack and ridicule is really a very nice human being... sorry his looks don't match up to your handsome qualifications! I don't see an album of yours, nor do i see picture of you posted on the internet so that everyone on this great wire line hwy can exploit your looks.
Had anyone listened to this song ever, then you would get the jist of this song and possibly GOD willing, that he gave most of you hate filled, nothing better to do critics of album covers the knowledge to understand.
Now the song is about a father and daughter. It's the daughters 16th Birthday and her first date...dad is out in a honky tonk drinking,and on his way home to see his julie off on her first date, he gets in a car accident. When he wakes up in the hospital he asks someone to tell julie that he's sorry he missed her 16th birthday...and the reply is that you can tell her your self when you get to heaven.... in a jist

Chillax, Tara. That album cover's fuckin' hysterical. I'm sure John, himself, can at least concede this point.

Seems to me John and Julie have a hit whether they intended it or not. This LP is a classic. Lets be realistic...this LP cover has made at least a dozen "Top Ten Worst LP Cover" lists. So much going on here...the distraught look on Julies face...the beer and cigaretes on the table...the intense look on Johns face. Kinda creepy is an understatement. I would imagine that somebody at one point had to make the decision to "go with" that picture on the cover. What were they thinking?

I removed Hondo's second comment. Name-calling and "you suck" and "son-of-a-bitch" comments, as well as ridiculous conjecture about the guy in the album cover, has no place in this comments thread.
