Actually, the site is terrible (in fact, i found your blog during an attempt to find useful information on the bike). Most sites give detailed specs about the bike and it's components. I'm so far unable to find relatively basic things like the crank length or type/size of the bottom bracket.
Well, we're both right in our judgements of the Trek site. We're just using different evaluation methods.
I was referring solely to the design and ease of use/navigability of the site.
Had I been looking for detailed specs such as you were, I'd probably have rated it differently. I suppose we'll see, when I revisit it to actually determine whether I'm going to buy one of their bikes or not.
does it really matter what the crank length is? i think you can just switch it out if you don't like it. i think the bike looks awesome. i like the black on black - kinda stealthy. tired of getting my bike jacked in NYC.

I agree, the Trek site is an A1 tight design showcasing their products. It's beautiful execution - their logo has never looked so good.
Whatever they're selling looks good to me - and now I want to get a bike.
Tell us, did you get the bike or not?
